Beekeeping Taster Sessions in Confolens

Lifting frames out of a beehive
Spend an afternoon getting close to our bees and finding out about life in a bee colony... Try different types of honey, learn about the various tools and what you need to start out as a beekeeper. 
  • all equipment and suits provided
  • just bring stout boots or wellies
  • refreshments included
  • groups limited to 8 people so lots of 'hands on'
  • Each session is a mixture of fun discussion and practical activities
  • photography opportunities included
There is plenty of time for questions and we always do our best to open the hives, even if the weather isn't great (but if it's too cold and windy, we have to think of the bees' safety and may need to postpone...)
